Dr. Lisa VanHoose Receives FAAPT and APTA Award
Dr. Lisa VanHoose became the 13th recipient of Fellow of American Academy of Physical Therapy (FAAPT) on November 5, 2021 during the 2021 AAPT virtual conference. She also received the prestigious 2021 APTA Societal Impact Award at the famous Kennedy Center in Washington DC on September 12, 2021. She delivered the 2022 Lynda Woodruff Lecture and many other lectures. She is also a fellow of the APTA.

APTA BECOMES ANTI-RACISM ORGANIZATION
The AMERICAN PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSOCIATION (APTA) passed RC-9-21 by 93% in the APTA House of Delegates on September 12, 2021, which calls for the APTA to become an ANTI-RACISM organization.

DR. LYNDA D. WOODRUFF LIFE came to an end at age 70 in March 2018, after a long life of fighting for civil rights in and out of the Physical Therapy profession. She pioneered and spearheaded many MINORITY PROGRAMS in the Physical Therapy profession.
